Hi Denis,

Both tents are light-weight and uses the Kerlon 1200 fabric. I haven't read any reviews where people comment on their resistance to long and heavy water exposures, so I guess they should be just fine =) Please update me if you find out something about it.

Hi, did you checked this tents against heavy water loading? As i suspect different materials and construction of the tents.

For southamerica and any other hot country with alot of vegitation I would consider a jungel hammock, got one myselves from: http://hennessyhammock.com/

Lightest quickest and most comfortable sleeping gear you can bring. And you doesn't have to search for even ground nor worry about land buggs.

Hope you get a great trip.

Hi Carl,

I'm going to spend a few days in BA then take a bus to San Carlos de Bariloche and begin riding from there. Won't be blogging but will get a green Unna tent.

Safe journey to everyone and will be checking your blog periodically.
